1) NEW RELEASE STATUS AND SCHEDULE
The promised February update to AirplanePDQ has now become a March update. I
apologize for the slip and any inconvenience it may have caused. We are now
committed to releasing the new version on March 30th. We'll have a beta version
out next Monday March 12th.
----------------------------------------------
2) NEW INTELLICAD VERSION AVAILABLE SOON
The good news about the delay with the new AirplanePDQ release is that we are
going to try to provide a new version of IntelliCAD with the new release. We
will be receiving the new IntelliCAD code within the next week and if all goes
smoothly we will be able to integrate it into the new release scheduled for
March 30th. We'll know more about this in the next week or two as we get the new
code in house.

3) DAVINCI TECHNOLOGIES PRESIDENT, DR GIL CROUSE, ELECTED TO THE ITC BOARD OF
DIRECTORS
The CAD software included with AirplanePDQ, IntelliCAD, is owned by a non-profit
organization known as the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (ITC). DaVinci
Technologies is a full commercial member of the ITC along with about 40 other
companies and this year I've been elected to the board of the consortium. Since
some people have asked whether we will be providing updates to IntelliCAD, I
wanted to let you know about our close ties to the ITC so that you can be
assured that we will be keeping the IntelliCAD software distributed with
AirplanePDQ up-to-date.
----------------------------------------------
4) "READERS CHOICE" AWARD FROM DESKTOP ENGINEERING MAGAZINE
We recently were informed by Desktop Engineering Magazine that AirplanePDQ was
awarded their "Readers Choice" award in the March issue. This award is
given to the product that receives the most reader service inquiries in a
particular issue of Desktop Engineering Magazine. Thank you Desktop Engineering
for the recognition, and thank you to all of you Desktop Engineering readers
that responded to our announcement!
----------------------------------------------
5) PRINTED INTELLICAD MANUAL IS AT THE PRINTER
The printed IntelliCAD manual that I mentioned in our last newsletter was sent
to the printer this week and we anticipate receiving a proof copy next week. Our
initial order will then be received the last week in March so the manuals should
be available with our new release. The cost for the manuals will be $25 +
shipping. If you think you will want to order a copy of the manual, please let
me know via email in the next few days. We have a minimum # of copies that we
will be ordering, but I'd like to gauge the interest so we can order additional
copies if the demand warrants it.
----------------------------------------------
6) EAA AIRVENTURE BOOTH ASSIGNMENT
The Oshkosh airshow is coming soon! EAA AirVenture is scheduled for July 24-30
this year. We received our booth assignment for this year last week, and this
year we will be in booth #3119 in building C. We were also in building C last
year but were several aisles over. If you will be attending the show, please
stop by and say hello!
